Hi guys,
These two months have been very emotive for me and my country due to the rescue of the 33 trapped chilean miners.
This inspired me to create a simple facebook game to rescue them in a virtual way and help the miners and their families.
I'd like to share it with you.
http://apps.facebook.com/rescatemineros/
Hope you like it!

Cheers!

You have to be the only person on the planet that didn't know. Wow.

Absoluteley, have you turned on the TV lately or even left the house? ;) Also personally I have no objection making games on ongoing world affairs, all other medias sure do make a good fortune of it, so why not let indie game developers try their best?
I like the game, its simple but still fun to play with some neat creative ideas. Of course it has nothing to do with papervision though :O

I haven't turn TV on for maybe half a year. The reasons being 1 it has
small diagonal and 2 they show smae old boring crap all the time. I
did go outside few hours back to do some shopping, but probably too
tired to notice giant posters saying "33 chilean miners were saved".

Sounds like the chilean miners have been catching even more sunshine
than you have!

You might like to try out an amazing new invention - the internet. They
have news websites on there and everything.

Seriously, the chilean thing has had intense news coverage in all media
for several days now. Embrace the world, not tunnel into your computer.

Look, I'm having more fun here reading about things like Gliese 581 g
being found (and then maybe not) than watching on TV what paris hilton
had for breakfast. And you're not doing well in changing my mind so
far.

+1 :)
Anyone who stares at stars is a humble poet imo (I am speaking about true stars here)
Black holes are everywhere (double or triple meaning here)

I don't have a problem in studying the skies, but it's rather sad when
it interferes with connecting with people. We had 33 miners whose lives
depended on the success of a steel torpedo sliding through a narrow hole
to reach them. The first to use that contraption descending from the
surface was a pretty brave guy.

Anyway, it's all OT.
