Hi Guys, I just starting out with papervision and after following many not
very helpful tutorials, I finally got a swf to pop up without any errors,

This is the code I am using:
package
{
import flash.display.Sprite;
import org.papervision3d.cameras.Camera3D;
import org.papervision3d.scenes.Scene3D;
import org.papervision3d.view.Viewport3D;
import org.papervision3d.render.BasicRenderEngine;
import org.papervision3d.objects.primitives.Sphere;

public class exampleClass extends Sprite
{
public var cam:Camera3D = new Camera3D();
public var obj:Sphere = new Sphere();
public var rend:BasicRenderEngine = new BasicRenderEngine();
public var scene:Scene3D = new Scene3D();
public var view:Viewport3D = new Viewport3D();
public function pv3d()
{
addChild(view);
scene.addChild(obj);
rend.renderScene(scene, cam, view);
}
}
}

Very simple, but I get no compiler errors or warnings, just says somethign
about Great White, but my SWF is completely empty, no sphere or anything,

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

you might want to name your constructor the same as your class name.

not rude.

its sound advice. pv3d is a pretty sophisticated package and i just happen to think he'll do better if he goes into it with his shoes tied.

i am the guy that fixed his code by the way, so yeah maybe he can ignore the only person that responded to his mail (within minutes mind you)
