Hi all,
I am importing a DAE scene that includes animated joints. The scene
was exported from Maya using the settings shown here:
Loading Image...
The frame rate is very low (4 FPS with BasicRenderEngine, 1 FPS with
QuadrantRenderEngine). The DAE scene has about 20,000 polygons.
Also, a camera feed and image tracking algorithm are running in the
background. The camera and tracker are otherwise able to run at about
15 FPS.
The test platform is a MacBook Pro, 2.4 GHz Core Duo, running Flash Player 10.3.
Can anyone suggest steps for optimizing this type of scene for PV3D?
Is the polygon count beyond the engine's capabilities?
Thanks,
Joe Howse
